Tools and Tales: Flintknapping and Storytelling

Flint knapper Roy Carter and storyteller Chuck Stout will visit the library for a knapping workshop and storytelling program. Carter is a skilled artist who makes arrowheads, spearheads, and other stone objects using traditional Native American methods and tools. He will show his work and demonstrate his techniques. Stout is a renowned teller of local stories and anecdotes (all true!) and will entertain with tales from Madison County and beyond.This all-ages event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
