Friends of the Library

The goal of the Friends of the St. Paul Public Library is to offer support to the library and staff on any way possible.

The Friends gathered for the first time in February of 2010. The remodeling and opening of the new library facility was the primary focus. Activities such as book sales, yard sales, and booths at local events were successful. These monies were used for remodeling and outfitting of the new library.

The Friends continue to assist the library and staff in the following ways:

  • To develop & facilitate programs.
  • To focus public attention on library services, facilities and needs.
  • To stimulate gifts of books, magazines, desirable collections, and funds.
  • To provide a variety of services to library patrons.

Any active patron of the St. Paul Public Library is welcome as a member of the Friends of the St. Paul Public Library. With the opening of our new building, the future of the library is very bright. We invite you to share in making the St. Paul Public Library a vital part of the lives of people in South Madison County.

Meeting are held the 2nd Thursday each month at 6:30 pm.
