We’re Open!

Posted on April 21, 2021

The St. Paul Public Library is now open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays. Some limitations are in place to ensure the safety of patrons, staff, and volunteers.

We offer 30-minute appointments. Walk-ups are welcome if space is available. The front door remains locked; please knock to come in for your appointment or to ask about a walk-in.

Up to three patrons at a time may enter the library on Thursdays and Fridays at 10 a.m, 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m. During their time in the library, patrons may use one of our new public computers, browse the stacks, and check out lots of fresh books, DVDs, and games.

We request that patrons wear a mask and sanitize their hands when they come in and observe social distancing during their appointments. We provide free masks, hand sanitizer, and hand wipes at the door. The restroom remains closed to the public.

We are continuing our popular porch pickups for patrons who prefer not to come in. In addition, we provide many other services such as reserving items for checkout, answering reference questions, printing, scanning, and copying, free book bundles, children’s activity kits, and many more.
