Come Zine With Us!

Posted on September 30, 2024

This fall we are learning all about making zines with the goal of producing a St. Paul Library community zine in November.

Not sure what a zine is?

No worries. You are not alone! But the good people at Eastern Michigan University can help. Click here to find out how easy it is to make a zine and start sharing about the things you love in a new, fun, creative way!

Want to know even more?

Don’t miss the special zine-making workshop we will be hosting on Thursday, October 10th a 2pm; this will be a one-time only opportunity to think about how you can unleash your creativity on the world. The workshop is free and open to all ages 13 and up, but space is limited. Call the library for more information and to save your spot.

Turn your creativity into cash!

We are accepting submissions for our community zine from now until October 25. Submissions can be pieces of art or writing or collage or some kind of combo with a maximum size of 8.5×11 inches that share a piece of you and your best life advice about surviving and thriving in the Ozarks. You are invited to submit up to 5 pieces. You will be rewarded with $20 for each piece selected to be part of the community zine.

Still have questions? Read the flyer below or just come on into the library.
